Our History

Care Home Insurance Services was originally set up by David Waters in 1997 and was based in Seaford, East Sussex in an idyllic countryside location.

Back then CHIS was a two man team, with David providing the brains in the operations, and business partner and lifelong friend Jeb the brawn.

Whilst in its infancy the business was managed by the two single handedly and ran from the tranquil location of David's garden, which suited Jeb down to a tee. However as the company's business (and reputation) grew, so too did its staff, and the inevitable day had to come when a move to a slick city office was essential.

The team has been based in a central Brighton office since 2004, and after the initial teething problems (mainly from Jeb) they've never looked back with over 1,500 current clients.
